Contact a Realtor® you trust. Yes, you can search on your own with the fantastic tools out there like Realtor.com. But in real estate, timing is everything and a real estate agent has access to properties before they even hit the market. They have insider information. They also have great tools with the top algorithms to send you properties that fit your exact requirements to take the search out of research.

A home’s true value is in the eye of the perfect owner! While you definitely don’t want to pay more than a home is worth, consider what that exact home is worth to you. People pay more for high end brands every day. If they didn’t, there would be one generic type of car on the street. Point being, don’t lock yourself into what you believe a home’s value should be.
Consider what a home is worth and what it means to you. How long you’ll be there. How easy maintenance may be. Sometimes the steal of a lifetime isn’t based on price at all. Allow yourself to think outside the price box.
